In Idaho, surveys indicate some youth binge drink in the sixth grade, and a few may even start earlier. Parent’s disapproval of youthful alcohol use is the key reason children choose not to drink. Get informed and involved. Don’t just talk to your kids; let your actions show them you really care. Keep up to date with local and state-wide organizations, campaigns, and events.

Therefore, for 2013, the ISLD has elected to create an Educational Mini-Grant Program to distribute these funds to partnering agencies through a competitive grant system. Community organizations, law enforcement, schools, colleges, universities, nonprofit agencies, or for-profit organizations are encouraged to apply. If interested, please complete and send in the attached application no later than Tuesday, March 26, 2013.
